The Contract Signing Ceremony of Jingzhou Health City Project took place on March 5. He Guangzhong, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; and Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government met with a delegation led by Yao Dong, Vice President of Evergrande Group (Evergrande) and witnessed contract signing.

Located at Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area, with a total area of approximately 1,229 mu and an estimated total investment of about 10 billion yuan, the project extends east to Qiusuo Road, south to Gaoyang Boulevard, west to Wude Road and north to Diding South Road. Phase I involves a health business complex, a cinema, a characteristic business street and a five-star hotel. The health business complex consists of four parks--Yiyang Park, Kangyi Park, Changle Park and Qinzi Park. Phase II involves a hospital, an apartment building for elderly rehabilitation and a high-quality eco-health residential community.

He welcomed the delegation and thanked Evergrande for its operations in Jingzhou. The CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government attach great importance to culture & tourism development. The contract signing of the project will boost Jingzhou's culture & tourism health industry, he said, hoping that the two sides would deepen cooperation, and advance project commencement and construction, to add new splendor to the new scroll of "Great Yangtze River, Beautiful Jing River".

Wu Chaoan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, addressed the signing ceremony. Jingzhou attaches great importance to the development of the health industry, and the contract signing of the project is a vivid practice of implementing the "Health China" strategy in depth, he said. The ceremony marks a new start for the cooperation between Evergrande and Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area, he noted, pledging that the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government would fully support the project, and provide the best services and create the most favorable environment for Evergrande's investment in Jingzhou, to achieve win-win.

The proposed health city in Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area will attract flocks of tourists and an influx of people, boost local consumption and enhance the comprehensive economic strength of this area, Yao said. Driven by the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area, it is believed that the health city will become an all-round health & leisure tourism resort for people of all ages and a new model for the promotion of Jingchu culture.

Sun Yuqiu, Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, hosted the ceremony. Present were Jiang Hong, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; Huang Zhen, Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government; Peng Xianrong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area; and other leaders.
